Appearance

Mine was the same as the one pictured here. Stunning from every angle.
Comfort
5
I used it to commute across Europe, all year round. Very comfortable and the engine helped protect the legs from the cold when riding in Jan in Germany.
Performance
5
At the time it was the fastest production bike and it is still fast today, faster indeed that the retro bikes from the early 2000's. The whose of speed was accompanied by the greatest sound a motorcycle engine has ever made.
Durability
5
I had no issues what so ever during my 4 years with a CBX.
Maintcost
2
They were expensive to maintain when they were sold (nearly bankrupted me as a 21 year old) It ate tyres, chains (all the most expensive at the time) and Servicing costs were again the most expensive. I suspect that owning one now does not come on the cheap
I am so glad I got to own one of these incredible machines. Riding with just a back pack from Spain to the UK at night on the expressways at an indicated 200kph with just the sound of that glorious engines is one of my all time great memories.
